Mini Album Makers Tutorial

Hello all!  Just a quick sneak peek to tempt you over to the Mini Album Makers Challenge blog.  I'm over there today with one of the tutorials the Design Team members are sharing each month.

Mine is a full step-by-step for creating one of the toilet-roll mini albums you've seen around here occasionally... though I have, of course, created a whole new one for this tutorial.  I hope you'll have a chance to hop over to Mini Album Makers and check it out.

And you may have missed last night's sneak peek for my PaperArtsy Shades of White Mobile - it was a bit of a blink-and-you've-missed-it post.  If so, I hope you'll have time to take a look at that too - it's also got some pretty nifty recycling going on.

Sorry I'm not around much at the moment.  I'm trying to take a bit of an internet holiday along with my sunshine and peace and quiet!  I hope you're all thriving and I'll be back to play soon.

Thanks to my mother, not a single cardboard box has found its way back into society. We receive gifts in boxes from stores that went out of business twenty years ago.

This made me smile! I thought I used unusual materials withe my Boneo Books ( you can guess the key ingredient) but these are fantastic. I like your binding solution too. This has really got the cogs wiring away. Thank you.

Wow, a great sneak peek, and your album is gorgeous Alison! I can't believe this was made from toilet paper rolls, I'm completely blown away!! I just adore all the amazing nature image pages and how you white washed everything to give it a soft shabby look!! I am really in love with this Sari ribbon you used, I was wondering if you might let me in on where I could get some of this?? sending hugs :)

Enjoy your time away Alison, nothing like a bit of a break!

I'll head over to check out your make and have to say I laughed out loud when I read that Irma quote- i always loved her and that is exactly how frugal and creative my Dad was- it was the generation of the depression. Too bad there aren't more lessons like this in today's throw away society! Maybe our earth would not be in such bad shape ecologically speaking!
